Nitro District

Nitro District isn't a serious sim, and it doesn't pretend to be. It's a loud, neon arcade racer built for quick thrills. You tap to boost, hold to drift, and the whole thing rewards aggressive driving over careful lines.

The car upgrades are simple but satisfying, and the tracks have enough shortcuts to keep replays interesting. Tilt steering works better than I expected, though I switched to on-screen controls for the tighter courses.

There's a bit of repetition once you've seen every track, but for a phone racer you dip into now and then, it hits the right buttons. Pure comfort food.
