Emberfall Saga

Emberfall Saga is the kind of mobile RPG that trusts you to stick around. The opening is a bit talky, but once your party fills out and the class system opens up, the combat becomes a proper puzzle. Positioning matters, elemental combos matter, and boss fights actually punish lazy rotations.

The leveling curve is well tuned. You never feel forced to grind for hours, but there's always a reason to fight one more encounter to unlock the next branch of a skill tree. I respecced my mage twice just to test builds, and the game let me do it without any nonsense.

The writing carries real weight in the back half. Choices you make early quietly change who joins you later. It's the rare phone RPG I finished on purpose rather than out of stubbornness.
